The best way to enjoy this Tuscan red wine is with beef steak with braised eggplant, with lamb chops with mashed potatoes and celery and wild mushrooms, or simply on its own, either alone or with a good dark chocolate.
This red wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes pairs perfectly with beef cheek with potato rösti.
The grapes are pressed and fermented separately according to the plot. After fermentation of about two weeks, the wine rests and undergoes a biological transformation of the acidity. In spring, the Farnito Cabernet Sauvignon is transferred to barrels, where it can mature for approximately one year. It then spends at least eight months in the bottle before being released for sale.
Intense and dense ruby red with delicate garnet highlights.
The nose of this single-varietal Cabernet from Tuscany delights with opulent nuances of blackcurrants, complemented by crème de cassis, ripe black fruits and other berries.
On the palate, the Carpineto Farnito Cabernet Sauvignon begins extraordinarily powerful and dense, yet remarkably fresh and vibrant. In addition to its crisp, fruity acidity, the wine features imposing but highly polished tannins, forming a soft, velvety, dark reddish-black backdrop upon which the aromas of the Farnito Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT shine like radiant diamonds.
