If Sauvignon Blanc is king in Pouilly-sur-Loire, the Loire is its queen. The river's climatic influence contributes to the excellence of four wines, as well as to the diversity of the terroirs: limestone, Kimmeridgian Marls, and Flint, resulting in fruitiness, aromatic intensity, and minerality. This diversity of soils, along with the winemaker's work and passion, allows for a wide range of tasting sensations.
Alcoholic fermentation lasted an average of twenty days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 17º to preserve the wine's fruity aromas. It was then aged on its fine lees for several months.
Light pale yellow color.
The first tastings reveal aromas of citrus fruits (lemon, rose, grapefruit), exotic fruits (pineapple, mango) and mineral aromas (flavor of "flint") typical of the designation.
The palate is round with exotic and mineral notes, as well as a long finish.
