On the nose, the first impression is deep and complex, with lots of jammy black fruit, sweet and suggestive alongside mineral tones of coal and slate, dark chocolate, blackberry caramel, soft natural coffee and a background of violets and spices.
On the palate it is intense, with the presence of blackberries and blackcurrants, plum jam, graphite, elegant oak smoke, good coffee toast, hints of cocoa and light notes of vanilla.
