The soil is calcareous-clayey, moderately deep, and alkaline, typical of the Veneto plain. It rests on an ancient layer, a paleosol known as "caranto." The climate is generally temperate and humid due to its proximity to the sea. Even so, it is characterized by a wide temperature range due to the alternation of cold and warm, humid winds.
After destemming and crushing, vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with daily pump-overs and maceration on skins for 5-6 days at a temperature of 25-28ºC. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and further fermentation in cement tanks.
