These grapes come from a plot in Gualtallary, specifically from a caliche area within this area. The harvest was done by hand in 16 kg boxes.
The grape bunches are placed whole in the cement egg to allow alcoholic fermentation to occur within the berries. After alcoholic fermentation, the bunches are pressed and the extracted wine is combined with the free-run wine. The egg is then refilled and remains there for at least 6 months.
At first glance it appears somewhat opaque and light red.
The nose is incredibly intense, with aromas of gunpowder, graphite, and chalk. It's a wine that clearly distinguishes the limestone soil.
On the palate it enters with an incredible texture, electric and sharp, just like its name. A great finish and persistence.
