The grapes come primarily from vineyards in Trentino, typically trained using the Trentino pergola system on well-drained alluvial soil due to the rocky subsoil. Grapes from the most acclaimed areas of Friuli, trained in the spalliera style, complete the blend. Yields are 120 quintals of grapes per hectare.
The perfectly healthy, ripe grapes are harvested and immediately transported to the winery to ensure their integrity. After pressing, some of the grapes are left to macerate in the press for a few hours. Following cold settling of the must, vinification takes place without the skins, and fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature. Selected yeasts are used to enhance the varietal aromas. The new wine is aged in stainless steel, kept rigorously cold on its fine lees, and well protected from oxidation at all times.
A soft straw color with a platinum tint.
A broad, intense, persistent and very elegant perfume, with dominant notes of ripe pear, dried fruits and meadow flowers.
Its flavor is full, fresh, smooth yet lively and firm, with good acidity and a long finish. This is a very typical Pinot Grigio, with a noble structure, appealing to the nose and very satisfying on the palate.
