18 months in French oak barrels (40% first use and 60% used)
Both varietals undergo cold maceration at 8°C for 10 to 15 days. Alcoholic fermentation (co-fermentation) then follows the principles of microvinification in 225-liter French oak barrels. 5% whole bunches are used during fermentation to accentuate the wine's freshness. During this process, the barrels are rotated and pigeage is performed manually.
In the glass, garnet tones and the characteristic intensity of our wines are observed.
On the nose, it highlights a fruity and spicy profile, subtle oak notes, and aromas typical of prolonged aging.
It's worth noting that 2018 is one of the greatest vintages in our history. We found good structure in the mid-palate, round tannins, and elegance. We are confident that this positive evolution will continue over time.
