Aged for 18 months in new barrels for the Malbec, 18 months in 400-liter barrels for the Cot.
The Malbec was fully fermented in 225L French oak barrels using a rotating system. The Cot was fermented in 400L clay kilns, atop a rotating system to replicate the same extraction process as the full-bore vinification. This is for extraction through a gentle rotating motion.
The color is a deep garnet red.
The nose reveals balanced, intense red fruit notes, with hints of coffee and chocolate from its time in oak.
On the palate it is complex, full-bodied, with ripe notes balanced by tannins, highlighting red and black fruit and floral notes. The finish is long, with notes of coffee.
