The La Asperilla estate is located in the municipality of Peñafiel at an altitude of 800 meters. The soils are predominantly clay-limestone, with varying percentages of sand. The vines were planted in 1994 using a trellis system with a planting pattern of 2.2 x 1.2 meters, resulting in a planting density of 3,700 vines/Ha.
It has a bright cherry color.
