Valpolicella, between the towns of San Pietro in Caria and Fumane Negrar, has a particularly well-known and highly regarded area called "Le Caleselle." Here, in select vineyards, winemakers choose the grapes that Santi Casa uses to develop Valpolicella Classico Le Caleselle. Since 1997, following pure Veronese tradition and using modern techniques, approximately 50,000 bottles of this excellent wine are produced annually.
Made from 65% Corvina grapes, 30% Rondinella and 5% Molinara, selected from the villages of San Pietro in Caria, Fuma nenegrar and production limited to 110 quintals per hectare plots.
